Failing (i) above, Officer uder the Central Govt. holding analogous posts; or, SAS. Accountants or SAS passed Clerks from any of the Organised Accounts Department. |

Qualifications and Experience-
- Candidates passing in the Subordinate Accounts Services or equivalent examination conducted by Accounts Departments of the Central Government.
- Successful completion of training in the Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM) or equivalent.
- Candidates must have Five years’ experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work. [Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years]
