Educational Qualification

Candidates have educational qualification – 10th pass from a recognized University or its equivalent.

How to Apply

Mode – Online

  1. Applicants are required to apply online by visiting www.rrcbbs.org.in. Detailed instructions for filling out the
    online application will be available on the website.
  2. Candidates must first register and then log in accordingly. A candidate is allowed to submit only one
    application; submission of more than one application shall summarily disqualify the candidate.
  3. During submission of the online application, a Registration Number will be issued to each applicant and must
    be preserved and quoted at all further stages of the selection process. Candidates must not change their
    registered mobile number or email ID during the entire process. All important notifications will be published
    on the official website, and email/SMS communications will be sent only to selected applicants; such
    communications shall be deemed to have been read by the applicants.
  4. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the information filled in their online application. Any false
    information shall lead to immediate disqualification.
  5. Candidates must take a printout of their online application after final submission for record. If found eligible,
    the candidate will be called for DV.
  6. Applicants must fill in their personal details, trade, Aadhaar number, marks/CGPA, and choice of
    Division/Workshop very carefully, as the computerized merit list will be generated solely on the basis of the
    information provided. Any discrepancy found during Document Verification will result in summary
    disqualification.
  7. Applicants must be in possession of an Aadhaar Card and must enter their 12-digit Aadhaar number at the
    time of registration. Those who have enrolled but not yet received the card may enter the 28-digit Aadhaar
    Enrolment ID printed on the enrolment slip. This provision applies to applicants from all States and Union
    Territories; the original Aadhaar Card must be produced at DV.
  8. Applicants must ensure that their name, father’s name, and date of birth exactly match the details recorded in
    their Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Any discrepancy found during DV may result in cancellation of
    candidature and debarment.
  9. Applicants are permitted to choose only one Division/Workshop; the option once exercised shall be final and
    binding. Applicants are advised to refer carefully to the trade-wise vacancy table (Annexure ‘A’) to ensure the
    Division/Workshop applied for has available vacancies corresponding to their trade, qualification, community,
    and category.
  10. Applicants possessing ITI qualifications in more than one trade may apply separately for each relevant trade.
  11. Applicants attempting to submit more than one application for the same trade using different particulars
    (name, father’s name, community, PwBD status, qualifications, or different Email IDs/Mobile Numbers) are
    informed that all such applications will be summarily rejected.
  12. Applicants must download and retain a printout of their online application, to be produced whenever
    requested by the Railway Administration.
  13. Applicants must report for Document/Certificate Verification with their original documents, along with the
    Medical Fitness Certificate (Annexure ‘F’), at Railway Recruitment Cell, Bhubaneswar.
  14. Applicants claiming consideration under the EWS quota must upload their EWS Certificate as specified above
    (Annexure ‘E’).

(i) The applying employee should possess the requisite educational qualification prior to/on the closing date of application and entry of the same should also be reflected in the Service Sheet of the employee. Academic qualification must be from government recognized University, otherwise candidature will be rejected.

(ii) Those employees who are awaiting results of the final examination need NOT apply.

(iii) The employees must upload the scanned self-attested copy/copies of educational qualification certificates during filling up of online application and produce the original educational qualification certificates during the time of document verification.

(iv) Candidates having higher educational qualification may also apply however they would not get any advantage above other candidates.

(v) Eligibility of the candidates will be considered on the strength of the information furnished in the ONLINE Application. If at any stage of examination or thereafter, it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in his/her application is false/incorrect or the candidate has suppressed any relevant information or the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post(s), his/her candidature will be rejected forthwith.

(vi) RRC may reject the applications of candidates at any stage of examination process in case it isfound out that the candidates are not fulfilling the requisite criteria.
