Eligibility Criteria for NIA Recruitment 2024
For Inspector-
The officers of the Central Government, State Government or Union Territories:-
Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
With 5 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200 in the parent cadre or department; and
Possessing the following qualifications and experiences:
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Two years’ experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism.
For Asstt. Sub- Insp-
The officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories:-
Holding analogous post on regular basis.
One rank up if, HCs (pay scale PB-1 with GP 2400 pre revised) with 5 years regular services in the grade, and
The candidate should have degree of Graduation from a recognized university.
Experience of at least 02 years in the field of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or information technology management.
For Head Constable –
Officers of the Central or State Police Organization or State Police organizations or Government’ Intelligence agency or other investigation bodies;
Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. And
Processing the minimum educational qualification of 12th class pass or equivalent from any recognized Board of University.
