- Stenography and Typing Test (90 Marks)
- Stenography Test:
- Dictation of a 400-word passage in English at 80 words per minute for 5 minutes.
- A 30-minute window for transcribing the dictated passage on the computer.
- Trial Passage:
- A 400-word trial passage is provided before the final dictation for checking system efficiency.
- Not transcribed or evaluated, only for audio and computer system check.
- Final Dictation:
- Dictation of the final passage at the same speed as the trial after a 5-minute interval.
- Typing Test:
- A separate typing test of 400 words for 10 minutes at 40 words per minute.
- Typing test is qualifying in nature.
- Transcription on Computer:
- Candidates transcribe both stenography and typing test passages on a computer.
- Evaluation:
- Marks obtained in stenography transcription and interview contribute to the final score.
- Personal Interview (10 Marks):
