Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) with a minimum of 55% marks and registration with the Bar Council is required.
- Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB Degree (3-year or 5-year professional course) from a Bar Council of India (BCI) recognized institution.
- Mandatory CLAT PG 2026 Score (conducted in December 2025).
- Eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State Bar Council.
Salary Structure
As Per Rule.
- Stipend During Training: ₹56,100/- per month (at OTA Chennai).
- Pay Level (On Commissioning as Lieutenant): Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500).
- Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500/- per month.
- Estimated Annual CTC: ~₹17 – 18 Lakhs per annum.
- Perks & Allowances: Free medical facilities (military hospitals), canteen (CSD) facilities, government accommodation, Transport Allowance, Dress Allowance, Children Education Allowance, and insurance cover up to ₹1.25 Crore under AGIF.
