Educational Qualification
A degree in Mining Engineering is mandatory.
Candidates must have a Degree in Mining Engineering with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) and should be qualified in the GATE 2025 examination.

Coal India Recruitment 2026 Age Limit –
The upper age limit is 30 years as on 30th April 2026 for General (UR) and EWS category candidates. Category-wise relaxations are available as specified below. The maximum age of any applicant on the crucial date (30th April 2026) shall not exceed 56 years under any circumstance. Departmental candidates of Coal India Limited or its Subsidiary companies are not subject to any age limit.
