- Scientist/ Engineer (Electronics) – Candidates must have passed a BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- Scientist/ Engineer (Mechanical) – Candidates must have passed a BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- Scientist/ Engineer (Computer Science) – Candidates must have passed a BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
