Educational Qualification

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed at least 10th standard from a recognized board. Appearing candidates for the required qualification can also apply but must have passed before document verification/selection date
  • Physical Standards: Physical standards and medical fitness as per recruitment rules are specified in the notification
  • Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply
Regular Candidates: Candidates should have passed 10th grade (Senior Secondary) from a recognized board.

Salary Structure

UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025 – Physical Fitness Criteria

Physical Measurement & Efficiency Test (PMET): Candidates must qualify in the PMET, which includes physical measurements and a fitness test. The fitness test includes a 1600-meter race, with different time limits based on age and gender.

  • For Male Candidates:
    • Up to 30 years: 1600 meters in 06 minutes.
    • 30–40 years: 1600 meters in 07 minutes.
    • 40–45 years: 1600 meters in 08 minutes.
    • Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CMPF Personnel above 45 years: 1600 meters in 10 minutes.
  • For Female Candidates:
    • Up to 30 years: 1600 meters in 08 minutes.
    • 30–40 years: 1600 meters in 09 minutes.
    • 40–45 years: 1600 meters in 10 minutes.
    • Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CMPF Personnel above 45 years: 1600 meters in 12 minutes.
