(Civil or Highway) degree and have worked in the town planning department of the government, statutory boards, urban authorities, universities, recognized research institutions, public sector undertakings, semi-government, statutory or autonomous organizations, or local bodies for at least two years; (or) A minimum of two years of experience in town planning work in the government’s town planning department, statutory boards, urban authorities, universities, recognized research institutions, public sector undertakings, semi-government, statutory or autonomous organizations, or local bodies is required, as is passing Sections A and B of the Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) Examination in the Civil Engineering Group; (or) A bachelor’s degree in planning or a bachelor’s degree in technology in planning from an accredited university or institute is required, as is two years of experience working in the field of urban or regional planning for state governments, statutory boards, urban authorities, universities, recognized research institutions, public sector undertakings, semi-government organizations, statutory or autonomous organizations, or local bodies. |
