Education Qualification

To apply this post Candidates should have Passed (completed) a 10th from any of the recognized boards or Universities.

• Soldier (General Duty):
  Class 10th / Matric Pass with at least 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
  For boards following the grading system, candidates must have a minimum of D grade (33–40 marks) in individual subjects or a grade equivalent to 33%, and an overall aggregate of C2 grade or equivalent (corresponding to 45% in aggregate).
• Soldier (Clerk):
  10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and at least 50% in each subject.
  Securing 50% marks in English and Mathematics / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
• Soldier Tradesmen (All trades except House Keeper & Mess Keeper):
  Class 10th Pass. No minimum aggregate percentage required, but candidates must have at least 33% marks in each subject.
• Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper):
  Class 8th Pass. No minimum aggregate percentage required, but candidates must have at least 33% marks in each subject.
