structures. Provide technical
consultancy and design solution to the plant for all civil and structural design related issues and also to improve structural integrity of ageing
structures/buildings. Develop design
solutions to meet customer specified requirements based on site visits and fundamental engineering. Responsible for modification or augmentation of
existing structure/ facility to
improve Safety and Productivity. Provide all technical clarification related to civil, structural drawings during fabrication, erection &
commissioning. In addition also responsible for
driving Excellence in Execution, TQM and safety for the Section.

SKILLS
Design of steel structures with knowledge of Stress and Strain,
· Manual Design Calculations, with good understanding of structural stability analysis
· In-depth understanding of weld design
· Hands on experience of Use of 2D CAD packages- AutoCAD
· Hands on experience of use of Staad Pro for design and analysis of steel structures subjected to static loads
· Structural integrity assessment
· Through understanding of design codes and standards (IS, BS, Euro)
· Understanding of design & engineering of bulk material handling system and equipment
· Knowledge of design of systems/tools & tackles/ cranes etc. used for mechanical handling to reduce man machine interface and improve
handling safety.
