Educational Qualification

A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale whereverthe grading system is followed) in a Social Sciences/ Law/Economics/ Governance Policy and concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Desirable Qualification :-

(a) The applicant should hold a Ph.D. degree in the above discipline from the recognized university.
(b) The Candidate has published minimum three research papers from his/her Ph.D.
work, in a refereed journal of UGC Care List or Scopus Listed Journal.
(c) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in
conferences/ seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC / ICSSR/ CSIR or any
similar agency.
(d) Minimum three years research experiences in the field of Socio-economic
transformation, Sustainable Development, Buddhist Studies and other relevant discipline of
Social Sciences/Law/Economics/Governance Policy and concerned/ relevant/ allied
subject.
(e) Knowledge of statics and other statistical tool.
(f) Preference will be given to the candidates who have JRF or recipient of other
academic Fellowship experiences, merits of academic credential and publication of policy
documents etc.

Not exceeding 40 years as on 28.02.2025.
