 Primary Level Class 1-5Candidates must have 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.)or 10+2 with at least 45% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms).

Alternatively, candidates may have 10+2 with at least 50% marks and be appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)or 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.) are also eligible.
Junior Level Class 6-8Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.)or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular).

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms) are also eligible.Alternatively, candidates who have 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and are appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)or a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program are eligible. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), or those having a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course, are also eligible.   • Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./DELED.

Junior Level

  • Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./ D.El.Ed.)
  • Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular).
  • Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular)), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
  • 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
