Educational Qualification

- For Technical branch aspirants (Electrical/Electronics and Mechanical Trades), an Engineering degree with 60% marks in aggregate in the relevant field is required. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) must recognise the qualification.

Medical Standards.
All candidates recommended by Final Selection Board will undergo Medical examination at ‘ Base Hospital Delhi Cantt.’ as per medical standard prescribed in currentmregulations applicable to Assistant Commandant entry. The prescribed/current medical standards are as follows –
(a) Height – Asst Commandant (GD), Tech. 157 cms minimum. Reduction in minimum
height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the
Central Govt. regulations.
(b) Weight – Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.
(c) Chest – Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.
(d) Hearing – Normal
(e) Eye Sight –
- (i) Asst Commandant 6/6, 6/9 – Uncorrected without Glass.
