ONGC Scholarship 2023 – Oil and Natural Gas Corporation is providing financial assistantship to students and scholarship to students from economically disadvantaged background. Any number of students doing first year undergraduate and postgraduate courses can apply for this in 2023.
Through this, eligible students receive Rs 48,000 per annum on a monthly basis of Rs 4,000. This scholarship is distributed among 500 OBC, 500 General, and 1000 SC students, with a 50% scholarship reserved for female students. The scholarship selection process is evaluated on the basis of merit. Online applications for ONGC Scholarship 2023-24 are invited by ONGC Foundation.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, students should be 30 years of age.
Annual family income of General OBC students should be less than ₹ 200000
Family income for STSC students should be less than 4.5 lakhs
If you want to apply for this scholarship then you must have 12 and graduation degree
You should have more than 60% marks in 12th and graduation.
Both male and female can apply for this application.
Steps to Apply Scholarship 2023-24
If you want to apply for ONGC Scholarship 2023 – 24, then first of all you have to apply by visiting the official website. Below you are told how you can apply for ONGC Scholarship.
First login to the official website
You will see Apply Scholarship on the home page of the official website, click on the button.
Select your category, there you will be given three options as to which category you belong to and you will have to select your category General OBC ST SC, whichever you fall in, click on the button.
Read all the given instructions carefully then click on the I Agree button given below and apply.
Now the application form will open in front of you, enter basic information like
We will have to enter your address. You will be asked for two addresses. Fill your address properly.
Now you have to fill your qualification details
After this enter your bank address
You will be asked for some important documents. Upload important documents.
After doing all the verification, click on the submit button, in this way you can easily apply.
Note: The format of the document must be PDF or image, the size should be less than 200 KB. All the documents must be self-attestation and the mark sheet must be attested by the Head/Principal.
ONGC Login and upload ECS form
- Go to the ONGC website, https://ongcscholar.org.
- Now click on Already Register.
- Select Scholarship then Enter the Acknowledgment Number and Date of Birth, Select From, and Click on the View Button.
- When the application dashboard opens, go to Upload Documents, then upload the ECS form and submit it.
Selection Process
- General, SC, ST, and OBC. But the total seats differ according to category, for SC and ST students a total 1000 students will be selected, whereas for General the total number of slots are 500.
- Scholarships only to meritorious students pursuing professional degrees Or courses in either in undergraduate like B.Tech, MBBS, or Masters in MBA, Geology, and Geophysics.
- Students belonging to BPL categories will be given more preferences.
- The selection is purely on the basis of total marks obtained in qualifying examinations that is either in standard 12 for MBBS or Engineering courses or in Master courses like Geology, Geophysics, or MBA. The minimum marks must be 60% or 6 CGPA out of 10 per semester.
Every year, 2,000 fresh scholarships are distributed to selected students. ONGC provides scholarships of about Rs 48,000 per annum to the selected students to carry out their higher studies.
